The excavation of foundation trenches for a single dwelling-house was monitored owing to its proximity to SMR 93:34, a standing stone or stones. These were some 30m to the west of the area of construction. No trace of the standing stone(s) appears to remain, and nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered in the foundation trenches.
