Testing was requested in advance of development at a site where planning permission had been granted to erect seven dwelling-houses at Emlagh, Ballydavid, Tralee, Co. Kerry. No known archaeological monuments are present in the site, which is adjacent to the ruins of Emlagh House. Three long trenches tested the site, and nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
