Test-trenches were excavated on the footprint of three house sites as part of an archaeological assessment requested by Kerry County Council. The site is in the townland of Cloghane, to the east of a univallate ringfort, SMR 35:31 ‘Lisgortnarah’. The trenches were excavated on the footprint of the house foundations, entrances, and septic tank and percolation areas. No archaeological stratigraphy or artefacts were recorded.
