Geophysical and surface survey continued at the monastery as part of the Castell Henllys Field School. Intensive magnetometer survey was applied to the northern area of the site, with parallel transects at 0.5m. This produced results which showed more detail than the previous 1m zigzag intervals, and several possible buildings or small enclosures were identified. Magnetic susceptibility readings also showed significant variation over the area. Work will continue.
