This report details the results of monitoring of ground disturbance works associated with the construction of buildings at the Oriflame site, Blackthorn Road, Sandyford Industrial Estate, Co. Dublin. The site is in an area that was not developed until the end of the 18th and the start of the 19th century. There are no known archaeological sites in the immediate area, although there is an enclosure (SMR 22:24) on top of Ballaly Hill, some 650m to the west.

The construction works involved the demolition of a number of modern buildings and the reduction of the ground level across the site. Monitoring of the removal of ground slabs and demolition, and the construction works, revealed only modern deposits over bedrock, located at 0.3–0.6m below the modern surface. Nothing of archaeological interest was noted.
