Excavation of a number of possible post-medieval features was undertaken at this site, in advance of the construction of ducting at Internet House, 26–34 Temple Bar and 6–7 Crown Alley. During the course of the excavation, considerable later disturbance was noted on the site. A wall noted during previous testing on the site was not identified within the excavated area, where demolition layers overlay reclamation deposits, probably dating from the original development of the site in the late 17th century.
