Original work took place on this site under licence 98E0199 (Excavations 1998, No. 164). The developers constructed a raft over the medieval layers, and a licence was issued for monitoring of a high bank at the perimeter of the site. Rubble of 18th–19th-century date was removed, and no archaeological features were uncovered.
