This site was a levelled possible fulacht fiadh. A large spread, 24m in diameter, of charcoal-rich material with inclusions of heat-shattered stone was readily apparent after topsoil-stripping. This spread, however, is the only visible remains of the possible fulacht fiadh. No evidence for a trough or other features associated with a fulacht fiadh was noted.
The site had been greatly disturbed by extensive agricultural activity. Numerous plough scars cutting deep into the subsoil along with two field boundaries were recorded. No finds were recovered. Results of carbon dating of the charcoal-rich material are awaited.
