Testing was carried out in a greenfield site to the south of the existing factory complex of EMC, Ovens, Co. Cork, which it is proposed to develop as a carpark and which was near a circular enclosure as noted on an aerial photograph. A significant amount of development has been undertaken in the adjoining townland of Barnagore since the EMC factory was constructed on the site. Two test-trenches were opened by mechanical digger. No archaeological finds or levels were noted.
