The site is located within the zone of archaeological potential for two sites: a burial-ground and a possible souterrain at Killaveenoge East, Drinagh. Topsoil-stripping was monitored in advance of development. A dump of loosely packed stones, which appeared to be agriculturally derived, was revealed in the south-eastern corner of the site. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
