Monitoring at this housing development site took place in November 2001. A levelled enclosure, SMR 51:109 (of which there was no trace prior to development), is located in the eastern part of the site. Site layout was altered to ensure that no construction took place within the zone of potential of the monument. During the period of monitoring an access road and plot boundary walls were built and a service trench was excavated. No houses were built. The site has now been divided into individual plots and it is proposed to sell these for future development.
Nothing of an archaeological nature was recorded during monitoring.
