Monitoring was carried out on a site near possible standing stones before the construction of a domestic dwelling. The site was somewhat lower than the roads to the south and west, and over the last number of years material from the construction of local roads has been dumped there to raise its level. The modern fill, containing mainly earth and stone, was found to form a layer 0.2–0.5m deep on top of the original topsoil. No archaeological finds or features were noted on the site.
