The excavation of test-trenches was undertaken in the area of a single house site to the immediate south of a levelled ringfort, SMR 26:94.
Three test-trenches were opened by machine on the footprint of the foundations, the septic tank and percolation area and the access. No archaeological features, stratigraphy or artefacts were recovered.
