Monitoring took place of an extension to the existing changing-rooms at the GAA field in Ruan. The external bank of a well-preserved ringfort is located less than 2m from the building. All of the ground disturbance took place prior to the notification of an archaeologist or DĂșchas. An inspection of the site, including the examination of all the excavated material, revealed no archaeological features or finds.
