Monitoring was undertaken during a programme of pipe-laying for the Lisdoonvarna Water Scheme, Co. Clare. The townlands concerned were Caherkinallia and Carnaun, to the south-east of Lisdoonvarna village. Monitoring took place from 22 May 2000 for two weeks. No archaeological material was recovered during this phase of the project.
