Monitoring was carried out of the groundworks for a proposed development of a house and percolation area. Sod and topsoil were removed to a depth of 0.3–0.45m all over the site, revealing a homogeneous creamy-grey sandy subsoil. There were no finds. Despite the proximity of the proposed site to two archaeological complexes, the impact of the proposed development on possible archaeological remains appears minimal. Monitoring of further groundworks associated with the development was recommended.
