The site of IMP 87 (intermediary pole-set) on the Drumline–Ennis 110kV Line Realignment consisted of two parallel trenches 50m south of an enclosure. The trenches measured 2m in length and 0.7m in width, and topsoil had a maximum thickness of 0.4m. No artefacts or deposits of archaeological significance were uncovered.
