Monitoring of a single dwelling construction took place in November 2000. The site lay at the foot of a low hill topped with Ball’s Motte (SMR 21:5) and adjacent to ecclesiastical remains on the outskirts of Donard village. Monitoring did not reveal anything of archaeological significance.
