Monitoring of an extension to a dwelling-house was carried out at Ardmayle, Cashel, Co. Tipperary, on 25 July 2000 in response to a condition of planning. Ardmayle village is approximately 8km north of Cashel town, on the banks of the River Suir. The proposed extension involved excavating foundations out from the side-walls and rear gable of the existing bungalow. No traces of archaeological features or artefacts were found.
