In October 2000 a human bone (2000:70) was discovered in the spoil from a drain at Cappaleitrim, Co. Roscommon.234 The remains were found during Bord na Móna works and were reported by Enda McDonagh. No further details are known regarding the disposition of the remains, as they were discovered in a disturbed state.
