Testing was undertaken on the route of the KnockâClaremorris Bypass adjacent to a possible hut site. The possible site was off the line of the development. The test area measured 20m by 25m.
A mechanical digger was used to strip the area of sod and topsoil. No finds, features or deposits of archaeological significance were present.
