Monitoring of a housing development took place in the townland of Bryanstown, Drogheda, from April to October 2000 in response to a condition of planning. Bryanstown is to the south-east of Drogheda, on both sides of the N1 Dublin–Belfast Road.
No archaeological features or deposits were found on the site. However, the remains of the old site brickworks were recorded. A surface find of a 1690 James II coin, the year of the Battle of the Boyne, was significant.
