Pre-development testing and monitoring took place at a house site within close proximity to Abbeyshrule abbey and cemetery. Three trenches were excavated by machine to the level of undisturbed natural. The entire area of the house, driveway and related services was then excavated by machine. No archaeological remains were uncovered.
