Pre-development testing in the form of two mechanically dug trenches took place on a site adjacent to a Cromwellian star-shaped fort at Lurganboy, Co. Leitrim. Both trenches produced evidence of modern disturbance down to natural levels. No finds or features of archaeological significance were noted.
