Monitoring of a housing development took place in May 2000. The development site was located on high ground overlooking Thomastown to the south. Four SMR sites lay in the immediate vicinity of the development: 28:38, 28:41 and 28:42. The site was under grass, and removed field boundaries were apparent. Monitoring did not reveal any evidence of archaeological features, although finds from topsoil reflected dumping of 18th and 19th-century domestic refuse.
