Archaeological monitoring of general ground reductions associated with the provision of a new carpark and associated drainage at the rear of Hospital Wards 3 and 4 at Defence Forces Training Centre, Curragh Camp, Co. Kildare, was undertaken from 23 to 25 June 2000, in compliance with a recommendation from Dúchas The Heritage Service. The development site is within the confines of an archaeological complex (SMR 23:76) and to the south of five documented enclosure sites (SMR 23:53–7).
Nothing of archaeological interest was uncovered during the course of the monitoring.
