An area measuring c. 100m east–west by 5m was examined using a metal-detector in May 2000. Construction of an access road to a proposed relay pole appeared to have impinged on a possible fulacht fiadh, which was destroyed. The development spoil was subsequently examined and metal-detected, but no archaeological artefacts were recovered.
