This small site was identified in the course of monitoring of the topsoil-stripping prior to the construction of Phase 1 of the Airport–Balbriggan bypass (see Excavations 2000, No. 323). The site was identified as a small, circular area that contained charcoal-enriched soil. It was 0.9m long, 0.81m wide and 0.13m deep. The charcoal-enriched soil lay directly on top of the subsoil. The site was probably a small pit that had been ploughed through. This site is considered to be of no archaeological significance.
