Testing was carried out on a proposed residential development of eight houses at the ‘White Gables’ on 12 September 2000 in response to a condition of planning. Five 2m-wide test-trenches were placed across the imprint of the proposed houses. No traces of any archaeological features or artefacts were found during this work.
