Monitoring was undertaken of several phases of service trenches. Phase I was of two hand-dug trenches along the embankment immediately south of Arbour Hill road and to the north-west of Clarke Square; Phase II was of Collins Square North; Phase III was of Collins Square West; and Phase IV was of Collins Square South. Trenching averaged 0.7m wide and varied from 0.7m to 1.2m deep. No structures, deposits or artefacts of archaeological significance were found.
