Prior to proposed works in the quay area at Maheraroarty, Co. Donegal, an intertidal survey was carried out. While nothing of archaeological significance was identified within the immediate area of development, a natural lagoon and possible structures associated with the kelp industry were noted in the vicinity. These will not be affected by the development.
