An archaeological evaluation was undertaken at a proposed development site at Mill Street, Baltinglass, Co. Wicklow, on 3 July 1999. The work was carried out in compliance with a request from Dúchas The Heritage Service. The site is within the boundaries of the area of archaeological potential for Baltinglass, a 17th-century estate town that was made a borough in 1663, and to the immediate east of the site of a medieval parish church.
Five trial-trenches were mechanically excavated. No features, structures or finds of archaeological interest were uncovered.
