Monitoring was carried out at Brownswood, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, as part of the expansion of a quarry at the site. The area of development was a grass-covered field, in an area of agricultural land, on the brow of the slope overlooking the Slaney River. The development area is north of a fulacht fiadh (SMR 26:21), no trace of which is visible. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted.
