During redevelopment of this stud farm a series of earthworks, which possibly represents the remains of a deserted medieval village, was being partially buried in topsoil to make the land safe for livestock. No topsoil-stripping was involved, and no archaeological features or finds were revealed.
In addition a small road was being constructed to provide local access to Ballysheehan Church. Again, no topsoil-stripping was undertaken, and no archaeological features or finds were revealed.
