The medieval limekiln excavated in 1998 (Excavations 1998, 187) was dismantled to allow development to proceed. The work was undertaken in January 1999. All the stones of the kiln were numbered and placed in crates and are now in storage in the Dúchas depot in Sligo.
Detailed recordings of all the stonework were made. Many of the stones could not be removed intact because of heat damage.
