Monitoring was undertaken at the above site on behalf of Eircell. This had been recommended as a result of the archaeological testing conducted by Declan Moore (see No. 770, Excavations 1999). The monitoring did not reveal any archaeological features or deposits, and in all cases the layers recovered were consistent with those identified during Moore’s testing programme.
