An assessment of a proposed extension to an existing dwelling was carried out at 16 Wynne's Terrace, Dundalk. The site is on the east side of Wynne's Terrace, within the possible suburbs of the medieval town.

A single trench was excavated following the removal of a concrete yard. The ground was disturbed and consisted of demolition debris above a sterile, sandy soil. There was no evidence of archaeological features or artefacts at this site.
