Monitoring of the digging of foundations for a house and garage was conducted on this site, which is outside the medieval walls of Drogheda to the south side of Trinity Street. Excavation of the trenches revealed a mix of garden soil and modern fill. Foundations did not exceed 0.6m deep, and the only finds recovered were 18th/20th-century pottery together with some sherds of brown-glazed earthenware and some animal bone. No archaeological stratigraphy was uncovered during the excavation of the foundations.
