Six test-trenches were excavated on the footprint of a single dwelling-house and at associated percolation areas to the immediate south-east of the site of Kilrodane church and graveyard. No extant remains of the church or graveyard are visible. Ballyfraley stream separates the site of the church from the house site. No archaeological stratigraphy was recorded in any of the trenches, and no artefacts were recovered.
