Archaeological assessment of a residential development within an archaeological complex at Moonhall, Clifden, Co. Kilkenny, included the excavation of four test-trenches in the area of the development. A deserted medieval village, enclosures associated with the village, a ringfort, a castle and a well form the archaeological complex.
No archaeological materials were found in the test-trenches.
