Two trenches were opened north-south and east-west, by mechanical excavator, to assess the site for potential archaeological features before construction of a small development measuring 20m by 11m.
No evidence of an archaeological nature was revealed during the site assessment. Trench fill consisted of rubble infill with modern inclusions.
