An archaeological evaluation was undertaken at a proposed development site to the rear of the Kildare Medical Centre, Bride Street, Kildare, on 9 October 1999. The site is within the designated zone of archaeological potential associated with Kildare town.
Two trenches were mechanically excavated within the confines of the site. Nothing of archaeological interest was uncovered. Accordingly, it was recommended that no further archaeological involvement was required at the site.
