An irregularity in a field boundary adjoining a curve in a road on the line of the proposed Celbridge Interchange was investigated in case it represented traces of a destroyed earthwork. Three cuttings were excavated, two on the edge and one in what would have been the interior. No traces of any archaeological remains were found.
