In July 1999 a further extension to this housing development was commenced. Monitoring, mainly of access roads and of a sewerage pipe trench, took place. Nothing of archaeological interest was found, and the topsoil was cleared to boulder clay or bedrock, to an average depth of 0.5m below modern ground level.
