This project concerns the monitoring of the groundworks, by a mechanical excavator, associated with the Ballybofey/Stranorlar Sewerage Scheme. The scheme involved the construction of a new treatment works site and the laying of pipelines. It was carried out at different stages between April 1998 and April 1999.
The stratigraphy revealed during the monitoring indicated no evidence of features, deposits or artefacts of archaeological significance.
