Archaeological monitoring of topsoil-stripping was carried out as part of the N18/N19 (Ballycasey to Dromoland) Road Improvement Scheme in Area 13, Ballynacragga townland, Co. Clare. No archaeological features or deposits were encountered. Natural soils of silty clays and silty sands were excavated and were found to be sterile and featureless.
