Pre-development archaeological testing was carried out on this site in September 1998. A potentially archaeologically significant deposit was identified. The deposit was light brown, fine, sandy clay with occasional charcoal flecking, which rested on natural and underlay post-medieval and modern disturbance. Further excavations would have to be carried out to ascertain the true nature of this deposit.
