A feature of possible archaeological interest was observed in a field that was the site of a proposed housing development. It consisted of a flat area enclosed by what appeared to be a circular ditch, c. 12m in diameter. A single hand-dug trench was cut through the feature, revealing that the ground level had been raised by the introduction of modern fill, and the ditch may instead have been a short surviving section of the ditch of a long-demolished field fence.
