Monitoring of three phases of a housing development is ongoing. At present two phases are complete. The work involves the monitoring of access roadways, services and topsoil removal and the excavation of the foundations for the houses.
Two burnt pits below the level of the topsoil have been identified. No artefactual material has been uncovered, nor have any archaeological strata been encountered.
