Site B lay to the south-east of AR27, and close to the Knockalton Road, on the Nenagh Bypass. The site area was c. 10.5m north-south x 12m and consisted of a series of post- and stake-holes with a number of associated pits. The post-holes did not form a clearly identifiable structure. The largest pit lay immediately north of the series of post-holes. This pit measured 1.5m x 2m and was 0.45m deep, consisting of a charcoal- and burnt clay-flecked soil. The northern edge of the pit had been disturbed by a plough furrow. The western portion of the site area was disturbed by a modern test-pit.
Finds consisted of sherds of prehistoric pottery, charcoal and chert flakes, all from the surface of the site.
